An encaustic painting created with wax and pigments on birch boards.
The painting is a diptych measuring 16”x32”, each piece framed in a brushed silver metal floater frame.
The depth and translucency of encaustic paint is what drew me to this medium and I find it perfect to convey the atmospheric scenes in my paintings.
