Stitched

Stitched is an encaustic painting created with wax and pigments on a 1” deep birch board.

The painting measures 24”x24”

The depth and translucency of encaustic paint is what drew me to this medium and I find it perfect to convey the atmospheric scenes in my paintings. Stitched is a geometric abstraction where I used a pattern tracer to make marks across the surface of the wax.
