Summer Haze

Summer Haze is an encaustic painting created with wax and pigments on a birch board.

The depth and translucency of encaustic paint is what drew me to this medium and I find it perfect to convey the atmospheric scenes in my paintings. Summer Haze shows the pink fading sunlight at dusk.
