Water’s Edge is an encaustic painting created with wax and pigments on a cradled birch board.
The painting measures 36” x 36” x 2”.
Painted on a 2” deep birch board that can be hung without a frame.
The depth and translucency of encaustic paint is what drew me to this medium and I find it perfect to convey the atmospheric scenes of my paintings. Water’s Edge evokes the feeling of standing at the edge of a pond and seeing the sky reflected in the still water.
